Andrew & Gail's Wedding
I thought I would just update the blog this week with my latest wedding from last Tuesday. Andrew & Gail married at Gibbon Bridge in Chipping near Preston and thankfully the rain held off long enough for the day to run smoothly.
The pre ceremony shots of Gail were taken in the fantastic bridal suite at Gibbon Bridge while the Ceremony took place in the Garden Room.
For the evening reception Andrew & Gail booked the band 'The Pleasers' for the nights entertainment.
I must confess I don't remember ever attending a wedding with as much emotion and tears flowing. The reading during the ceremony was particularly heart warming and dare I say this even the Groom struggled to hold his composure during his speech.
May I take this chance to wish Andrew & Gail all the best for the future.
Best wishes
Gav

Andrew & Gail

I met up with Andrew & Gail last week to discuss the final details of their wedding and in particular their photography. This allows me to answer any questions they may have and gives me a chance to recce the venue for suitable locations and study the lighting so that I can be better prepared.
Andrew & Gail are getting married on the 17th February at Gibbon Bridge Hotel in Chipping, Preston. It is a beatiful location with stunning gardens and patio areas, ideally set within the Lancashire countryside.
As you know, snow has been falling all over the country as of late and I am crossing my fingers for another white wedding.
See you soon guys
Gav

Ric & Katy's Wedding
Well, their wishes came true....
Ric and Katy choose a date in December in the hope of having a white wedding. It was a long shot, as we all know it has not snowed this side of December in a very long time. However, we were all blessed with untouched snow and a clear frosty blue sky. Perfect for a winter wedding in the country.
Coniston Hall has never looked as spectacular as it did that day. A large timber fire crackling and christmas decorations welcomed us all into the house. Who could wish for more?
I love shooting at this time of year. The sun is in a low position delivering the perfect angle of light. I have posted a few images below as a taster.
Finally, I'd like to wish Ric and Katy all the happiness in the world and it was an honour to be a part of your special day.
Best wishes and have a very happy new year!
